Terms of sale

These terms cover buying and using plugins from , run by Brian Clark in the United Kingdom (“we”). By creating an account or buying a plugin you agree to them. Questions: email our support address.
Who you are buying from
Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, who act as our reseller and merchant of record: they take payment, charge any sales tax or VAT, and issue your receipt. Their buyer terms apply to the payment itself. We supply the plugin, its updates and support.
Your licence
Each purchase gives you, personally, a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that plugin on Rust servers that you own or administer. You may:
- install it on as many of your own servers as you like;
- change its configuration and edit or add translations (lang files);
- modify the code for use on your own servers.
You may not:
- share, resell, publish or give away the plugin files or modified copies of them, in whole or in part;
- remove or tamper with the licence header or watermark;
- claim the plugin as your own work.
Every download is watermarked with details that identify the buyer (see the privacy policy). If a copy traced to your licence is shared, we may revoke that licence and your access to downloads, without refund.
Updates and support
A purchase includes every future update we publish for that plugin, downloadable from My Plugins, and support through a support ticket while the plugin is sold here. Rust, Oxide (uMod) and Carbon change often; we aim to keep plugins working with current versions but cannot guarantee compatibility with every future release or with other plugins.
Refunds
Plugins are digital content, and a copy cannot be returned once it has been downloaded. UK and EU consumer law normally gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase, but not for digital content you have asked to receive straight away. So before paying you are asked to confirm that you want the plugin supplied immediately and that you lose the right to cancel once you download it. We keep a record of that confirmation.
- Not downloaded yet: you can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of buying.
- Downloaded: no refund for a change of mind, not needing it any more, or buying by mistake.
- Faulty or not as described: this is never waived. If the plugin does not work as its page says and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund.
To ask for a refund, email our support address. Refunds are paid by LemonSqueezy to your original payment method. A refund ends the licence for that purchase and removes the plugin from My Plugins.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, chargeback abuse, leaking plugins or attacking the site.
Liability
Plugins are provided with reasonable care and skill and as described on their page. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost server revenue or data, and our total liability for a purchase is limited to the price you paid for it. Back up your server before installing or updating any plugin.
Other
is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios, Oxide/uMod or Carbon. We may update these terms; the version in force when you bought a plugin applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and if you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU you also keep the protections of your local consumer law.
